Roman Rothaermel is a German neuroscientist and has conducted several years of research at the intersection between neuropharmacology and data science. He has a PhD and two MS degrees in neuroscience and biology from Oxford University. Roman started Mable during his time as a PhD researcher, when he observed how his fiancée, a chronic migraine sufferer and first participant in Mable's validation study, was not prescribed effective treatment after several attempts by her doctors.
